Prior to the centre confirming a place for your child, parents/guardians are encouraged to visit Chuckles Childcare. On visiting the centre you will be given an enrolment form and handbook which needs to be completed and returned, along with a copy of your child’s birth certificate and immunisation record. We will do our best to accommodate all enrolment applications, should we not be able to offer the required days, you will be placed on our waiting list and notified of vacancies as they arise. A minimum of 2 enrolled days is suggested. This is to support each child’s involvement in the development programs offered and to assist in the development of their friendships.
We recommend visiting Chuckles Childcare with your child to become familiar with the centre and staff. Ann (proprietor) or Mel (manager) will provide a tour of the centre and relevant classrooms. Prior to your child starting in childcare, you will need to contact the Department of Human Services (DHS ~ formally named; Centrelink or Family Assistance Office). This is to assess and arrange the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Chuckles Childcare will be required to charge the full daily rate amount until the CCS is approved and received from DHS.
To confirm a booking, you will need to return a completed enrolment form, along with your child's birth certificate and immunisation form. If you need any help completing this form please ask.
